Betty Blue Jazz Band
Betty Blue was born on the Island of Trinidad and Tobago. As a child, she moved with her family to Guadeloupe a small French Caribbean Island, where she remained until she was a teenager. Betty Blue later migrated to the US where she was faced with the challenge of learning to speak English as a second language. She writes ,composes and arranges her songs. She sings her ideas . Her love for singing started at the tender age of four years.  While most kids were out playing with toys, she would sit outside on a plum tree and sing for hours. Her life near the sea on the Island has influenced her sound. Calm, warm and soulful. She sang in churches as a child, but as an adult her passion for Jazz became so intense that she left church singing to sing Jazz. "I have a nomadic spirit" she says" listen to me and you'll hear it".
